    Giving

    Winter, 2012:

jan.jpgAs you know, the University is in a financial crisis. This year alone, our campus has cut 18% from last year's budget. Our funding levels are now at what they were more than ten years ago, despite thousands more students, new buildings, and rising costs. Although the Center relies heavily on a 2004 grant from the Gary W. Parr Family Foundation, the future success of the center will largely depend on additional private support. Support we have previously received from other campus entities has all but dried up. We need help to continue the invaluable work we provide the University and the larger local, state, and national communities.

At its heart, the Parr Center tries to get people to think about what they do, and why they do it. That's what ethics really is. We hope that you share our interest in society that is more contemplative, self-aware, and ethically active.

    Ethically yours,

    Jan Boxill, Director
