Recap: 2024 North Carolina High School Ethics Bowl

On January 27, the Parr Center was proud to host the 2024 North Carolina High School Ethics Bowl. The event brought together 23 teams of students from all across our state to discuss tough ethical issues and questions. After a long day of incisive conversations with volunteer judges from UNC Chapel Hill and the broader Research Triangle community, three teams emerged for special recognition:

 

2024 NCHSEB Champion: East Chapel Hill High School
2024 NCHSEB Runner-Up: Green Level High School
2024 Jamie Hysjulien Spirit Award: Greensboro Day School

 

East Chapel Hill High School will advance to the National High School Ethics Bowl’s Southeastern Divisional Playoffs, hosted by the Parr Center in early February. We wish them the best of luck, and extend our gratitude to all of our staffers, volunteers, coaches, and of course, participants, for making NCHSEB 2024 a tremendous success.
