Jennie Dickson

JENNIE DICKSON
Program Coordinator

Jennie Dickson has worked with the Parr Center since 2007 when she left her career as a marketing research consultant to explore the academic world. She obtained her BA in Philosophy from St. Mary’s College of Maryland in 2002 and has worked in a variety of pursuits including teaching, writing, social services, and yoga instruction. She is currently working on her Masters in Social Work at UNC and also teaches several yoga classes a week at local studios. As the Program Coordinator in the Parr Center for Ethics, Jennie collaborates on all aspects of events, workshops, seminars, panel discussions, conferences, and other related Parr Center and Philosophy Department initiatives, from recruiting and coordinating speakers to consulting on related structure, content, and logistics.
