April 9, 2021 - April 11, 2021

In September 2020, our team announced that the show would go on for the 2020-2021 NHSEB season. Six months, thousands of hours of hard work, 39 Regional Competitions, and hundreds of incisive conversations later, the Parr Center is very proud to invite our community to the 2021 National High School Ethics Bowl.

The 2021 National Competition will be held online for the first time in its history on the weekend of April 9-11, 2021, using our brand new NHSEBOne competition platform. Since its launch in January, that platform has been put through its paces by nearly 30 successful Regional Competitions and thousands of students, coaches, and volunteers. While the transition to an online-first existence has not always been easy, the spirit of our activity remains alive and well this season, and we couldn’t be more excited to conclude it with a terrific main event. More information about the National Competition, the 2021 National Case Set, and more, are now available here.

In addition to showcasing the work of the very best Ethics Bowl teams from high schools from coast to coast, NHSEB 2021 will feature additional programming for students, teachers, and organizers from around the country. That programming will be designed to engage our large and diverse community, and to bring us all together in a time where we must, sadly, remain physically apart. All in all, NHSEB 2021 will be not just a competition, but a celebration of the Ethics Bowl activity—past, present, and future. We hope you’ll join us for a fitting end to an unprecedented season.
