The Parr Center Graduate Fellowship Program offers an interdisciplinary cohort of Carolina graduate students the opportunity to collaborate with peers, researchers, and faculty across academic departments; engage with visiting speakers; and participate in the Center’s outreach programming.

Benefits of becoming a Parr Center Graduate Fellow:
- membership in an interdisciplinary community that focuses on a broad range of ethical issues and scholarship
- support from peers and faculty on developing scholarship in group workshop settings
- priority invitation for meals and meetings with the Center’s invited guest speakers
- opportunities to present at conferences and events organized or sponsored by the Center
- multiple opportunities to get involved with the Center’s award winning National High School Ethics Bowl
- opportunities to assist with local and regional ethics outreach initiatives with K-12 students, retirees, and other community members
Requirements (as of the 2024-25 academic year)
- Attend at least two Grad Fellow events from the list below*
- Attend at least three Parr Center public events from the list below*
- Moderate and/or judge at least two rounds at both the January 25, 2025 North Carolina High School Ethics Bowl and the April 11-13, 2025 National High School Ethics Bowl*
- Write at least one High School Ethics Bowl case
* In the case of unmovable schedule conflicts with these events, it is possible to substitute other activities with the consent of the Parr Center.
