Chapel Hill, NC: UNC Research, Carolina’s hub for inquiry at UNC-Chapel Hill, recently awarded funds to the Parr Center for Ethics to support research on the center’s philosophical education curriculum.
Can philosophical reflection revitalize public discourse, both online and in person? This project aims to enhance the Parr Center’s suite of ethics pedagogy resources to more effectively foster intellectual and civic virtues across the lifespan. It is led by Dr. Michael Vazquez, Parr Center Outreach Director and Teaching Assistant Professor of Philosophy, and Dr. Michael Prinzing, Parr Center Consulting Research Scientist and UNC Philosophy PhD.
