Parr Center Forums
Several times each year, the Parr Center for Ethics convenes a distinguished panel of speakers to discuss an important ethical issue, with special focus on topics that matter to and for the Carolina community. At a typical Parr Center Forum event, our panelists will speak for about 45 minutes, then a moderator will ask questions for about 20 minutes, and then the audience will do the same, though other formats are possible too. Recent topics of discussion include race and mass incarceration, the ethics of naming university facilities, and hip hop and social justice.
The Parr Center Forum series is free and open to the public. Please see our schedule for the next event in this series.
