Chapel Phil Podcast Drops New Episodes & Submits to NPR

In the first week of 2024, the Parr Center’s student-run philosophy podcast, Chapel Phil, released three episodes. Chapel Phil is one of seven 2023-24 Parr Heel Ethics Scholars year-long team projects, known as “pods.” The Chapel Phil pod is comprised of undergraduate students Jakob Cisco, Lorelai Sykes, Caroline Broadfoot, Sofia Casini, Aditi Duttachowdhury, Aidan Groves, Marcella Kingman, Samad Rangoonwala, and Savanna Ray.

 

Last week’s episodes cover gun control on college campuses, AI technology in the classroom, and the nature versus nurture debate within the context of twin births. The Chapel Phil pod submitted shortened versions of all three to NPR’s Student Podcast Challenge. This March they will be notified about whether or not they are a finalist.
